Journey north over the scenic Seven Hills to the village of Marcell, where kids can enjoy a large playground, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, and a baseball field. Stroll along the paved trail that winds around the park, then treat yourself to ice cream and souvenirs at Frontier Bait. Just a mile further, the Forest Edge of the Wilderness Interpretive Center showcases local wildlife through detailed taxidermy exhibits and offers a charming gift shop.

"Stayed in cabin 7, wow! A beautiful log house! Peggy was wonderful to work with and it was great to hear some stories about the resort and how her husband and her built some of the cabins. We enjoyed, bonfire, some fishing (w/no luck though lol), the sauna was great, views of lake and minimal wildlife. So worth it, just wish we has more than 3-1/2 days to stay."
